Sandy Northup
Chief Executive Officer / CEO

Sandy is proudly serving as a board member for NACSO (National Association of Credit Services Organizations). She attended Appalachian State University on a full academic scholarship and graduated with a degree in Accounting. She received an MBA from NC State University where she published an article that is used as a teaching tool at Universities such as Rutgers and Purdue. She has 5 amazing children and has the pleasure of owning this business with her wonderful husband Paul. She loves helping clients and business owners make their dreams come true!

Dex Leonard
Executive Director

Dex Leonard comes to us with a long, prosperous history of lending including both the Business and Personal finance space.

After successfully managing 5 offices for American General Finance, he became an Area Manager for First NLC Financial Services assisting people in financing for home mortgages.

When presented with the opportunity to help business owners obtain Credit Restoration and Business Funding through multiple platforms, Dex eagerly accepted and joined the A+ Credit team with the main focus of assisting the credit and funding needs of customers.

Having funded over a BILLION dollars in his 17 year career, Dex brings the knowledge and experience needed to get things done by listening to customer needs and coming up with the best MAKE SENSE decision possible. His confidence to fund deals comes from his unique ability to understand the picture being painted by the customer and come up with facts and reasoning on how to create the best possible business blueprint for each opportunity.

Dex takes pride in doing anything and everything possible to see funding scenarios to completion. He has earned the respect of clients and underwriters throughout the industry by making sure all opportunities are presented in a fashion that makes life easier for decision making, setting a high standard as to the type of work being generated.

Paul Northup
Chief Operations Officer / COO

Paul has a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in business administration. He has spent his entire career in the IT industry, both in sales and software training before joining A Plus Credit full-time. He never looked back! Now Paul’s favorite thing is the expression on client’s faces after going through their life changing program and achieving their goals! Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and sports.
